Vj,
Hmm was worried of glasses :-) You got someone of same feeling as well. I started wearing glasses in my 3rd standard. I was -0.25 then. It was an exciting feeling to start with, to see something new, something someone did not have, those days I spent with dad searching for my first one. Dad bought me a fibre glass that wont break and ofcourse with a rope attached to it to ensure that it does not fall (So very cautious), after all it's a glass right :-) Most funniest pictures of mine came at this age ofcourse! My rope stole the show and at school people nick named me 'Arnakayiru' :-)). I can't stop laughing! I have seen it all fibre, metal, carbon, half rim, rimless and just as my glasses my pictures also differed throughout my age! Most difficult experience is when I tried my first helmet which did not get in with glasses. Well what's more funny is I then rode my bike without glasses and I dont have to tell you how the ride was. Annoying fact is, that's my first ride in a bike with my would be :-) She was so very understanding that I became a pinion rider since then. At times I feel so very disturbed and wonder what's wrong and slowly realise I just got to clean my glasses. I was a joker in fielding as well, but never realised my glasses played a part :-) (Well that's just another excuse). I was no different from your thoughts on sun glasses as well. I am -5.5 now! With innovations on! we do have a choice of saying goodbye to good old glasses, but somehow something tells me it got to be on! My glasses good old friend of mine as well!

I loved my first read......seems you spoke my heart :-)

Mr.Opinion,

To begin with, I did not have the experience of wearing during my young age, adoloscent or early twenties . However I could relate your experience with one of my dearest pal.

You just have written, what he(dearest pal) used to share it with me.

Now I am feeling a bit nostalgic . . . Let me watch the live actions in San Siro

Hi Vijay,

I know how your friends call you in school. "Kannnadi". That is very common way of addreassing a glasser school student. I have an interesting story on spectacles, entirely opposite to you, I guess which I will write about in the blog.

Lord Shankar:
"Power of glasses (wife) keeps on increasing over a period of time" - thats a very good one!!!

Nice article.
I believe now Kumble is a legend then. Wearing glasses and took 500 wickets is something special

Glasses are boring. You sweat and your glass become wet and its starts skipping in front of our nose. Will look like thomas alwa edision form some time

Recently my glasses broke and 2 things happened to me. 1. JOY and 2. SORROW.

JOY: i dont have to wear glasses till i get my new glasses
SORROW: I cannot show see anything which is 20 metres away from me

I think glasses are like wife. Wear if once, Wear it for life... and funnily the power of glasses(wife) keeps on increasing over a period of time
